Words reflecting growth and healing |
|
|
|
The amazing thing is that as the outer layers of an onion are peeled back and the roots begin to shrivel new growth can begin. Firm strong and fresh shoots begin to rise from the heart out and up.
Thank you to all who are posting

AWAKE AND ASLEEP The child and the parent—together in
me. Asleep and awake. Who hears the cry? Is the child mute?
Who marshals the resources to meet the demand? Who will care for the
child? The sweet slumber is not the child's but the adult's........jack
on the queen......move the king.......look in the
fridge.....six on the seven......... Listen. You'll know. But the
somnolence feels so safe and dark....... Shake off the slumber.
Rouse yourself. Move toward your duty. Then you, adult/child,
can rest.

Scared of
the future
The
Flashbacks in my head
Want to
stop the cogs in my head John. |
DON'T QUIT
When things go wrong,
as they sometimes will, |

A survivors version of 'Little Miss Muffett'
Poor mr perv,
Stood in the bar
waiting for a drink or two.
Along came a survivor,
stood alongside him,
and frightened
poor pervy away.

YOU KNOW YOU'RE SURVIVING WHEN........
your life
starts to changeyou notice the sunshine
You hear
children's laughter and the sky looks SO blue
You go to
the shops
A friend
stops to speak
So, when
sunshine is dark

i saw these words on an Edward Monkton card
THE BUTTERFLY OF FREEDOM
"Why do you fly outside the box?"
"I fly outside the box because I can"
"But we know the box, we are SAFE inside the box"
"That my friend, is why I leave it, for you may be safe....
.....but I AM FREE!"
